Digestate / organic fertiliser
Digestate as a Fertilizer | Some 128 million tonnes of digestate are produced annually in the 13,000 biogas plants in Europe. These fertilizers contain valuable ingredients that are used to supply plants with nutrients and build-up humus and structure in the soil. Thus, in addition to the regenerative CO2 cycle in biogas production, all other material cycles are also closed. |
